Chain is too long

Everything good except toilet tank handle is hanging in a down position and have to hold handle down for a flush. Seems chain is too long. Is there a way to fix it? My old stopper had a really nice chain; is it still around? Thank you!

Got home from vacation and AC was not working on a holiday weekend. Called Jim, the owner of JMS and said he would send tech that night. I said I could wait til next day(Memorial Day). Aaron service tech called and gave me a time that he would be there. He was right on time and fixed fixed the problem right away. He was very professional and personable. I highly recommend JMS

Check the furnace, found that the owner had adjusted the height of the exhaust and intake pipes for the furnace. This was causing the furnace to not draft and produce excess water in the exhaust pipe, readjusted the height so that the exhaust and intake have downfall to the furnace. I found slightly weak run capacitor for the blower motor owner wants to hold off on repairs for now I did quote. Insured the furnace is currently working properly before leaving

Found water inside burner compartment. Checked chimney and exhausts. Found water was coming from water heater exhaust and going into furnace through the vents. Pulled burner assembly apart dried up water. Gave call for heat and verified proper operation. Also found bad blower capacitor. Batteries in thermostat were also changed.

Will need to come back with medium drain equipment when water it’s fully drained. Was not able to clear blockage with handheld machine. It appears there’s a clog further in the yard which is causing storm water to back flow into basement.

Found water to be leaking from the union on the hot side of the water heater. Installed new supply line and necessary plumbing rebuild. Marked on form that I did not complete full inspection. This is because the water to the house is shut off due to remodeling. Was unable to verify no leaks. Customer was advised same.

Customer was enjoying their first regularly scheduled furnace maintenance ahead of the cold season. Performed thorough check on the entire system and again confirmed to customer how regular appointment like this will prevent them from needing furnace repair in the future.

Found crack in copper drain pipe. Inspected pipe and took down info to give customer a quote for replacement. Will need to email customer a quote. Customer will need to have kitchen cabinets removed before we will be able to start work. We may have to cut a hole in kitchen ceiling as well which the customer will be responsible for getting patched. Customer will also be responsible for reinstalling kitchen cabinets and any repairs needed to kitchen wall after work is done.

Ran small machine through upstairs sink but could not get it to go much farther than 1 foot. Removed drain for kitchen sink and removed a blue pool hose that was connected to the end and run into 4 inch cast. Installed drain line properly and ran small machine through kitchen sink. Kitchen sink is now draining but is draining slow. Restriction seems to be in the garbage disposal and the garbage disposal is also locked up. Customer did not want me to go any farther due to cost. Recommended customer to look into a new garbage disposal and to replace the cast in the house. Customer said he will save that for another time

Customer reported air conditioner shut off and would not come back on. Determined drain line had been clogged and the auto shutoff switch was tripped as the drain pan filled. Unclogged the drain line - AC came back on as soon as water was clear.
